Once all operating expenses have been covered, the extra, unused funds paid in by the members of Amicalola EMC may be returned to the members as a capital credit refund. State law will only allow these funds to be used for these approved purposed and will not allow the unclaimed refunds to be used to offset rates or pay power bills.
