Lumpkin County Designated a Broadband Ready Community

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Representatives from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs recently attended the Board of Commissioners Work Session to designate Lumpkin County as a Broadband Ready Community. Broadband is critical to Lumpkin County and to the Development Authority of Lumpkin County’s goals related to quality of life, economic development, and workforce development. This designation demonstrates the county’s commitment to improving the reliability, speed, and capacity of internet connections for businesses, residents, and visitors in Lumpkin County.
